A stop-motion video documenting the detail deviations in the wood grain of a spruce beam. Starting from one end, the animation proceeds in a series of cross sections through the spruce beam. Each frame documents the wood’s grain as it is sawn down in small increments until the last section is sawn and the spruce beam comes to an end.
