Foundation B.a.d warmly invites to the exhibition ϟ ENERGY ϟ with work by our members and guest artists.
During Art Rotterdam in Ahoy, Foundation B.a.d (ten minutes away from Ahoy) shows the group exhibition ϟ ENERGY ϟ, with works by both members (those living and/or working in B.a.d) as well as guest artists. Our location, Talingstraat 5, is a beautiful school building designed between 1953-1955. In and around this building, the artists of ϟ ENERGY ϟ show their works. Photography, sculptures, paintings, and installations in situ.
A place of art, research and curiosity.
The exhibition showcases a wide variety of works by artists and guest artists from Foudation B.a.d. The works are displayed throughout the building and its garden, some small, some large and some made especially for the exhibition. Visitors can explore these works along a route that meanders through the building, leading from artwork to artwork.
‘Energy’ is not so much a theme as a mindset. The exhibition shows the energy of the artists: the individual energy but also the collective energy, and the energy that comes from the building, the group of people and their activities. For five days, the artists of B.a.d. will transform the studio building into a temporary place of art, research and curiosity.
