General Information

Foundation B.a.d offers guest studios to artists from the Netherlands and abroad. The guest studio programme is managed on a voluntary basis by B.a.d’s members. Since 1992, more than 400 artists, architects and designers have made use of our studios.

The main criteria for a guest studio are that you can function within and contribute to our community and understand that we are a non-subsidised artist initiative, which means we have no paid staff and cannot provide grants or financial help for our guest artists. Guests are expected to be self sufficient and willing to follow a few guidelines regarding health and safety, good housekeeping, etc.

In addition to our member’s studios are three guest studios. Each space has a sink, basic furniture (table, chairs etc), and wireless internet access. There is a communal kitchen, shared bathroom, and laundry facilities.

B.a.d’s guest studios are available for a minimum of three months and a maximum of six months.
